Khashayar Javanmardi (
Kjavanmardi) is an Iranian documentary photographer. His work ranges from stories of social efforts to portraits and essay projects on self-experimental topics.
Born in 1991 in Iran, Khashayar completed a B.A. in Art and Architecture from the Guilan University. He is a fellow student at Danish Media and Journalism School DMJX. He was recognized with the Iranian Emerging Talented Photographer of the year award for three consecutive years.
In 2014, he started the project
Iranian: the 90’s generation. He has also been working on a documentary about the railroad’s witness and the 4th wave of the Immigration phenomenon of Iran.
Khashayar began working professionally for the Iranian press at the age of 20 through the Jam Photo Agency. He is the director of Mamaat Art Collective and works as a photographer at Photo Elysee Museum. Currently, he works on his personal documentary projects and is represented by Silk Road Gallery.
